Men, women, and children who wish to run/walk in the event and also receive a T-shirt, are encouraged to pre-register by completing the application form found below and mailing it or dropping it off at the Springfield Medical Center.  Application forms are also available at the United Prairie Bank, Farmers & Merchants Bank, and Springfield Medical Center.  Participants in the event will receive giveaway items assembled by the program sponsor.  Times will be kept for the serious runners, but the even is also open to recreational walkers.  The course will be marked and will follow the route used in previous years that highlights the trail system along the river and through Riverside Park.
