Getting to Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes is located about 8 miles southwest of Manson, Iowa.  Check-in begins at 6 am in East Twin Lakes State Park.  After checking in, you may enter the transition area to set up your equipment.  After setting that up, you will drive to Twin Lakes Christian Center where the Race will start and finish.  At the conclusion of the race, you will need to go back to the State Park to retrieve your equipment.  Be assured that security personnel will be there for the duration (from 6 am until the last piece of equipment is removed).  No one but numbered athletes may enter the transition area as to keep your equipment safe.

Twin Lakes Christian Center

Twin Lakes Christian Center offers campsites with full R/V hookups and plenty of space for tenting. Reservations need to be made at least one week in advance (by July 25th). Sleep in and be zero miles from the event.

Camping at Featherstone Park

This lakeside campground offers 61 RV hook-ups, unlimited tent sites, and three rental cabins as well as restrooms, showers, picnic shelters, a playground, boat ramp, and docks for swimming and fishing.
