                                        Compact size car class and Full Size Car class

Demo cars entry fee:  $40 includes car, driver, and 2 pit crew.  Additional crew at $20 each –

registration stops at 5:30 PM.  No demo cars registered after that time.

Concessions will be available on the fairgrounds

 
GATE FEE:  $5 for adults, $3  5-12 years old, preschoolers FREE admission.

RULES AND REGULATIONS * DRIVERS MUST BE 18 OR OLDER

1.        Regular passenger cars and station wagons only (NO convertibles, Imperials, Lincolns, Thunderbirds, hearses, or four wheel drives).

2.        Cars must have bumper height of not more than 28 inches.  Compact cars judged by manufactures designated body size with 104” wheel base.

3.        Pre-demoed cars are allowed.

4.        All cars WILL BE INSPECTED before the demo.

5.        All glass and chrome must be removed before entering fairgrounds or the car will be disqualified.

6.        Doors must be chained, wired or can be welded shut (no grader blades).

7.        All drivers MUST wear helmets and seat belts with shoulder harnesses.

8.        Frame must be stock:  may notch, no bracing, no reinforcing or cutting in any way.  Body mounts cannot be modified.

9.        Full interior must be removed.  Deck lids and 9-passenger seat removed on all wagons.

10.     No reinforcing, welding, or bracing of the body but doors can be welded shut.

11.     Dash bar is allowed: no larger than 3 inches in diameter with end plates no longer than 12 inches by 6 inches.

12.     BEHIND THE SEAT BAR IS MANDATORY:  no larger than 4 inches in diameter with end plates no larger than 12” by 6 “.

13.     No reinforcing of the front end (this includes kickers to the frame or firewall from radiator support).

14.     Fenders can be cut for clearance.

15.     Firewall may be cut for distributor room.  Any hole in the firewall larger than 12 inches MUST be covered.

16.     Gas tank and battery box must be mounted and covered in the interior of the car (old gas tank must be removed).

17.     Stock suspension only (standard height with no spacers, stops, blocks or reversed spring shackles used to raise or lower.)

18.     Fire holes must be cut in the hood (not above the air cleaner).

19.     Hood hold-downs can be no larger than ¾ inch.  No more than 6 hood hold-downs not including hinges and 4 in the trunk.

 Cannot run your all thread all the way through the frame up to your hood or trunk lid.  Trunk must be empty.

20.     May cut hole in floor for gear shifter.

21.     If you wish to weld the stock bumper to the stock frame, this is acceptable.  You may also weld the shocks on the bumper.

  Chained bumpers are also permitted.  Two single wrapped chains for support only – no trailer hitches.

22.     Radiator must be stock in stock position.  No extra radiators or tanks allowed.  No extra bracing, but may be tied in.

23.     Transmission cooler allowed and must be mounted inside the car.  Cooler lines must be encased inside other protective line.

24.     Engines must be in original position.  Engine can be chained or welded in.  Any part of the engine can be modified.

25.     Tires:  No solid, airplane, tractor or skid loader tires allowed.  No stem protectors.  No stuffed or tires inside of tires allowed.

 No tires larger than 15 inches.  Tire skirts are allowed.

26.     No cross wiring of back windows in station wagons.

27.     No reinforcing or repair of front or hear hump.

28.     Windshield rods welded from firewall to windshield frame are allowed for driver safety.
