NEW ATTRACTION FOR 2010 – FOR KIDS & Adults!

Chapman Motor Sports and the Cherokee County Fair would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us at the fair and experience NASCAR full throttle. Experience the thrill of Daytona International Speedway from behind the wheel of a real race driven car. From behind the wheel of our Elliot Sadler 2006 #38 M&M's Ford Fusion enjoy the feel of the track at 190+ miles per hour. This full scale NASCAR racecar brings the thrill of the NASCAR to the fair. This car is a Superspeedway car driven at Daytona and Talledaga in 2006. From inside this actual racecar be the first to take the checkered flag at the Cherokee County Fair.

For the little ones meet "Toby" the Chapman Motor Sports mascot. Toby is a 1/2 scale car called a Supercup or a Minicup car that will run over 100 miles per hour. Toby is kid friendly and looks like he just stepped out of a cartoon. Bring the little ones its a great photo opportunity. Free stickers and candy for the kids. Cherokee County Fair  brings you the exciting sport of Bull Riding.  T & C Rodeo Company, Inc. from Lamoni, Iowa, when it came to our fair to put on this exciting event.  T & C Rodeo Company, Inc. specializes in many things, but for your entertainment they will have Bull Riding.  This is not a RODEO – it is only a Bull Riding Event.  The bull riding event will be on Thursday this year.

10:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.    4-H & Family Crafts Buildings Open (except Sunday)

10:00 am – 9:30 p.m.    Commercial Building Hours (Saturday)

10:00 am – 11:00 p.m.    Meyer Petting Zoo

12:00 pm – 9:30 p.m.     Commercial Building Hours (Thurs. & Fri.)

11:00 am - 5 p.m.           Commercial Building hours (Sunday)

 

 

Go Kart Races – Saturday evening – South end of the fairgrounds - Family entertainment for all ages!

Thomas D. Thomas Shows will be the carnival on our midway this year!

 Arm band prices:  $25 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday (excluding noon to 4) and Sunday

                            Kids day arm band (noon to 4 on Saturday) will be $15

 

Carnival hours:  Thursday and Friday – 5 to 10 pm

                        Saturday – Noon to 10 pm

                        Sunday – Noon to 6 pm
