QUILT BLOCK CONTEST

RULES:

Each contestant receives a packet of fabric, all fabrics must be used, add no embellishments (buttons, beads, ribbons, ect.)

Each block must be 9” x 9” square, blocks should not be set on point. Only use material supplied from your kits.

Blocks may be pieced, appliquéd, paper pierced or any other combination of above techniques.

Blocks will be judged on creativity, best use of material provided and workmanship.

Do not attach blocks to any kind of backing.

Blocks become the property of the Cherokee County Fair.

The blocks will be on display during the fair

The blocks will be made into a quilt that will be auctioned at the 2012 fair.

All blocks need to be entered into the family craft building on July 5^th. From 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. or Wed. July 6^th. from 8:00 A.M until 11:30 A.M
