Department Rules

1.       Senior Citizen exhibitor must be 72 years of age or older

2.       No requirement as to when item made or acquired.

3.       Has not been exhibited at any time at the Cherokee County Fair.

4.       Exhibit may be chosen from any class in the fair book.

5.       Unique entry Class must be accompanied by a written history and a 5x7 sheet of paper describing why it is unique.

6.       All entries must be accompanied with name, address and phone number of exhibitor.

7.       Diligence will be used to ensure the safety of articles after their arrival and placement, however committee cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

8.       All items to be hung must come ready to hang.

Awards

     1st, 2nd, And 3rd place ribbons will be awarded.

     Most blue ribbons will receive a special award.

     The oldest exhibitor will receive a gift certificate

     Winner of the Carrie Heath Memorial will receive $5.00.

     Winner of the Marie Nelson Memorial will receive $5.00.

     The person with the most years of exhibiting at the fair will receive a special award.

     Winner of the Unique Entry will receive a special award.
