General Rules

  1. All entries must be completed in the previous year, with the exception of senior citizens.
  2. Building will be closed during judging.
  3.  All entries must be the work of the exhibitor.
  4. Entries will be released at 4:30 on Sunday afternoon.
  5. All possible care will be taken to protect the exhibits. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to exhibits.
  6. Quilts, Afghans, and needlework should be in plastic coverings for display.
  7. Exhibits should be clean, finished and in good condition.
  8. Decision of the judge is final.
  9. No entry fee is charged for exhibits.
  10. Entries should be labeled with name,  address and age if junior entry.
  11. Out of county exhibitors are limited to 5 exhibits.
  12. Building will be open from 10:00 A.M to 9:30 P.M each day, except Sunday it will open at noon.
  13. Premium awards will be  $2.00 for blue, $1.50 for red, $1.00 for white
  14.  All entries will be judged on their own merit.

 

Genealogy Department

 

Genealogy Rules

  1. Exhibitors are limited to one entry per class.
  2. All entries must be accompanied be information on 3x5 cards showing the genealogical connection to exhibitor.
  3. Information should include names and dates to show value.
  4. Put names and dates on all pictures.
  5. Copy of photo and documents are permitted.
  6. Committee member reserve the right to reclassify exhibits if necessary.
  7. Diligence will be used to insure safety of all articles; however comm. members will not be responsible for loss or damage that could occur.

A Hobby Show

 

Senior Citizen Dept. Rules.

1.      Exhibitor must be 72 years of age or older

2.      Exhibit must have been made in the last three years.

3.      Item has not been exhibited before at the fair.

4.      Exhibit may be chosen from any class in the fair book.

5.      Unique entry must be accompanied by a written history describing why it is unique. Open to all ages.

6.      All entries must be accompanied with name, address and phone number of entrant.

7.      Diligence will be used to insure the safety of all entries.  Comm. members cannot be responsible for lost or stolen articles

8.      Items to be hung must come ready to hang.

Awards

3.      Remove spine from cucumbers and clean with soft cloth. Leave stem on.

1.      Three fourths of each entry may be picked up Thursday morning.

2.      All yeast rolls, tea rings, bars, and cakes, etc. should not be frosted.

3.      Recipes for yeast breads, quick breads, cakes and pies only.

4.      Entries must be on paper or plastic plate in plastic bag upon entry.

5.      Cakes should be on cardboard or other flat service not to extend more than one inch beyond cake.

  2. Entries must be entered in the name of the person taking the picture. Only 1 entry per class. Write name and address on each photo.

  4. All work must be framed or matted for hanging.
  5. All photo’s submitted must be suitable for display.
