Funeral for Joseph B. Fink Sr., 75, of rural Sleepy Eye, who died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato, will be 11 am Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be after 3 pm today with a parish rosary at 8 pm and St. Joseph's Society of Leavenworth rosary at 8:30 pm today at the O'Hare Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye.
Survivors include his wife, Mary two sons, Elois of Fairfax and Joseph Jr. of Sleepy Eye; one daughter, Mrs. Ray Wensauer of Comfrey; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Rothmeier and Mrs. Theresa Rothmeier, both of Clements, Mrs. Sylvester Franta and Mr.s John Singer of New Ulm.
Born Sept. 7, 1900 in Albin Township, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fink. He was married Oct. 9, 1923 to Mary Groebner at Holy Trinity Cathedral in New Ulm. They farmed in Leavenworth Township following their marriage. For the past six weeks he has been in falling health.
