Loretta Marie (Roiger) Flor , 87, of Springfield, MN, died on Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN.
Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Home Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m. The Clergy will be Father Dennis Labat. Interment will be at the St. Raphael's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Home Chapel in Springfield. There will be a parish prayer service on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.

Loretta Marie Flor was born April 5, 1918, in Stately Township, the daughter of William and Catherine (Kraus) Roiger. She attended country school in Stately Township. On November 22, 1938, she married Alfred Flor at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. The couple lived and farmed in Burnstown Township. Loretta was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church, St. Anne's Altar Society and St. Raphael's Craft Group. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, dancing, senior citizens groups, cooking, and trying new recipes.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald and wife Ronda Flor of New Ulm and Dennis and wife Susan Flor of Springfield; daughters, Nancy and husband David Beasley of Granite Falls, Beverly and husband Victor Sinderman of St. Paul, Kathleen and husband Joe Altrichter of Cushing, Arlene and husband Cyril Helget of Comfrey, and Florence Ortiz of 29 Palms, CA; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a great-great- grandchild; and a sister Mildred and husband Ben Mathiowetz of Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred; brothers, Henry, Perry, and Leo; and a sister, Adelia Rayden.
