Mrs. William (Rose M.) Guggisberg, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Home in Lafayette.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Willibrord's Catholic Church in Gibbon, with Burial in the Catholic cemetery in Gibbon.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Sunday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Chapel in Gibbon. St. Theresa's Court COF and St. Willibrord's Altar Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m., with parish prayer at 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, William, of Good Samaritan Home; daughters Mrs. Lloyd (Sally) Warner of Queensland, Australia, Mrs. Don (Gertrude) Donahue of Mankato, Mrs. Hillie (Mildred) Woratschka of New Ulm and Bernie Pfeffer of Fairfax; son Alex of Gibbon; 39 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren; and sister Agatha Juenemann of Sanborn. She was preceded in death by sons Clarence and Leon, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, eight brothers and six sisters.

She was born Aug. 20, 1893, in Stark Township, Brown County, to Hubert and Anna (Corey) Hillesheim. She was married to William P. Guggisberg Sept. 4, 1917, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bismark Township, Sibley County, until moving to Gibbon in 1949. They moved to the nursing home Dec. 1, 1978.
