Leone Hall, 81, of Springfield, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.

Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Springfield, with burial in Springfield City Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield. A parish prayer service is 7:30 p.m. Monday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.

She is survived by her children, Susan and husband Dennis Flor of Springfield, Karen and husband Joseph Kral of Springfield, Michael and wife Linda of Andover, Jeffrey and wife Laurie of Comfrey, Linda and husband Gilbert Anderson of Springfield, Charlie of Vadnais Heights, and Julie and husband Pete Gray of Anoka; 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sisters, Henrietta Johnson Kuhlman of Wahkon, Odelia Pihlstrom of Arlington, and Imelda Edmunds of Los Angeles, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd; son David; son-in-law Mark Pankratz; and brother, Joe Helget.

She was born Aug. 8, 1919, in Mulligan Township, to Joseph E. and Catharine (Zwaschka) Helget Sr. She attended grade school in Comfrey and Good Counsel Academy in Mankato. She worked at Augustin's Variety Store in Comfrey, the J. C. Penney Store in Owatonna and as a teletype operator at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis. She married Lloyd Hall on May 25,1946, in Minneapolis. They lived in Minneapolis and Richfield, until moving to Countryside Apartments in Sleepy Eye in 1990. She became a resident at St. John's Lutheran Home in Springfield in 1991. She belonged to St. Raphael's Catholic Church and was a former member of St. Richard's Catholic Church in Richfield. She was involved with a craft group at St. Richard's Church, drove for the Richfield Senior Citizens and was a Lioness member at the Hiawatha Lions Club.
