Lyle Hillesheim, 68, of Gaylord, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002 at his home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gaylord with burial in Gaylord Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday, and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2002 at Egesdal Funeral Home, Gaylord.
He is survived by his wife Betty; sons Mark of Buffalo and Greg of Eagan; daughters Vicky Goettl of Mankato, Lynn Tommelleo of New Castle, Pa., Lori Martens of Gaylord and Jan Bratsch of Glencoe; brothers Jerome of Sleepy Eye, Gilbert of New Ulm, Gildard of St. Peter, Joe of Leavenworth and Steve of New Ulm; sisters, Juliet Sprenger of Winthrop, Rose Zollner of New Ulm, Ruth Prokosch of New Ulm, Kathy Fegie of Hector, Annette Helget of Hanska and Mary Stadick of New Ulm; 18 grandchildren and one great grandson.
He was born Dec. 1, 1933 to Hubert Sr. and Katherine (Schunk) Hillesheim in Leavenworth Township, Brown County. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.
