Kathleen Hedlund, 43, of rural St. Cloud, died Thursday, June 8, 2000 at St. Cloud Hospital.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, St. Cloud., with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-9 p.m. Sunday at Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Parish prayers will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Eagles prayers at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and Christian Mother's rosary at 6 p.m. Sunday, all at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband Scott; sons, Kyle and Jack, of the family home; brothers, David Zenk, Pat and wife Sue Zenk, John and wife Judy Zenk, Bill and wife Peggy Zenk, Tim and wife Pam Zenk, and Peter Zenk, all of New Ulm; sister Rose and husband Mick Marysla of St. Cloud; and in-laws, Ray and Connie Hedlund of St. Cloud, Shelly and Tony VanSchaick of New York, Sandy and Bruce Scheil of Avon, Roxy and Robbie Schleicher of St. Cloud, and Ryan Hedlund of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Donald; and sister Barbara.
She was born June 29, 1956 in New Ulm, to LeRoy and Anna (Landsteiner) Zenk. She married Scott Hedlund on Nov. 17, 1984 in New Ulm. They lived in Kimball for five years before moving to St. Cloud. She worked as a seamstress at Jerry's Men's Wear, St. Cloud. She was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where she was active with the Christian Mother's Society. She was also a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Aid Council, New Ulm, and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
