Romeo the Black Cat

We "acquired" Romeo about 6 years ago while I was 
volunteering as an adoption agent for the BCHS.
It was Halloween time and Romeo was down at the
city shelter.  I brought him home to foster and he
has never left!  (That's about 8 years ago!)

This picture is about 4-1/2 yrs old, but I think it is adorable.
It's our son Taylor (who is now 5) and Romeo
spending some quality time together!

I can remember our daughter Charlie
who must have been about 4, practicing her ballet in
the kitchen and Romeo would be under the kitchen
table glaring at her- he'd come rushing out on his
hind legs and batting at her with his front feet - 
"Mom, he's doing it again!"

Now, he has mellowed tremendously, and he is wonderful
with our youngest, they sleep together all the time.

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your site 
and how pleased I was that the BCHS has made it to cyberspace!
