Dog Obedience Training
Some of the dogs, if they are
with us long enough, will get
basic dog obedience training. We use the "Gentle Leader"
training collar (as seen above) to teach sit stays, down stays,
heel and a trick or two like "shake." We also do a lot of "come"
exercises to get them used to their (sometimes) new name.
This makes for a much more adoptable dog. Imagine getting
a dog that already has had some dog obedience training!
We also encourage the new owners to continue the
training with classes that are offered in the area.
Your new dog will already be a step ahead of the others!
Our dogs we have now are currently receiving training and
are doing great!
