H. Anderson
Graveside
services for Wendell H. Anderson, 84, of Cherokee, formerly of Aurelia,
will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2005, at the Good Hope Cemetery
south of Cherokee. Pastor Bruce Rapp will be officiating. There will
be no visitation. The Redig Funeral Home in Aurelia is in charge of the
arrangements.
Wendell died
Monday, October 10, 2005, at the Cherokee Country Side Estates in
Cherokee, IA, where he has been a resident for 25 years.
Wendell H.
Anderson was born August 8, 1921, in Aurelia, IA, the son of Frank E.
and Anna M. (Sellers) Anderson. He attended Aurelia School.
Preceding
Wendell in death were his parents, his brother, Wayne Anderson and three
sisters, Lois Thevenin, Jean Hunt, and Betty Veencamp.
Survivors include his brother-in-law, John
and his wife Patricia Veencamp of Cherokee, six nieces and nephews,
Debra and Dan Safarik of Lincoln, NE, Darrell and Yvonne Veencamp of
Cherokee, David and Denise Veencamp of Madrid, IA, Bruce and his wife
Beverly Thevenin of Chesterton, IN, Brian Thevenin of Rochester, MN, and
Jerilyn VandeLinde of Bangor, MI.
