New Ulm Eye Center's Corneal Topographer

The Corneal Topographer is a diagnostic tool that allows Dr. Dannenberg and his staff to "map" the eye. The image generated is much like a topographic map of an area of the earth, showing hills, valleys, flat areas, etc... In this case, the image produced by the Corneal Topographer shows the "hills, valleys and flat areas" of the eye. This allows the staff to accurately diagnose and plan treatment for any annomalies that may be indicated. The benefit of this technology is that it pinpoints the exact areas that might need laser surgery, assuring both doctor and patient the best chance for success!
